Monday March 25th, 2019, Seven Oaks Country Club hosted the 11th Annual Rio Bravo-Greely Educational Foundation Golf Tournament. With 24 teams of 4 registered, there was a great turn out on a great day.

There were a lot of great sponsors, supporting the Rio Bravo-Greely Educational Foundation. We had the chance to speak to Robert Williams, president of the Rio Bravo-Greely Educational Foundation in the video below, where he explains why they run the tournament, and what the funds raised are spent on. Neetu Jahj from Seven Oaks Country Club also says a few words to thank Rio Bravo-Greely for hosting their tournament at Seven Oaks Country Club.

The format was a 4 player scramble with Peoria handicap calculated, to make the tournament, fair and fun. The tournament also included a Long Drive Competition, Closest to the Hole, a Hole in One hole with a Ford Mustang prize, a Hole in One hole with $15,000 on the line. Dixon Golf had a special deal on a hole in one where you could hit your ball and one of their Dixon Golf Balls and prizes for Hole in One and also for hitting the green. Aurelius Golf had a special deal on a par 5 where you could aim for hoola hoops in the fairway for a chance to win a driver or hybrid and if your whole team tried, you could hit your second shot from 100 out on the par 5.

The gift bag had some discounts for Worldwide Golf Shops, a free Hybrid or Wedge certificate from Warrior Golf, Pistachios from Sellon Farms, some Carson's Granpa Terriyaki Beef Jerky, a sleeve of Slazenger Raw Golf Balls and some information about the hosts. There were 50/50 and raffles, for a large array of gifts, including golf bags, gofl clubs, gift baskets and much more.
